We believe there are a lot of people who are using WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends and family at any time or anywhere. We seriously find this app easy and fast to use, no wonder there are more than 1 billion people in 180 countries is using WhatsApp.

While WhatsApp is simple and easy to use, sometimes is really frustrating as it will auto-download the images and videos that fill up the smartphone storage.

If you think the auto-download feature is frustrating, this is what you need to do.

Launch WhatsApp, go to Settings > Data and storage usage.

To disable auto-downloading of images, tap "when using mobile data" under "media auto-download." Check what are the things that you want to auto-download, if you already selected "photos", just uncheck it. You can do the same for videos and audio as well.

Now that you can save some data for another usage, we think this is definitely a good tip.
